Abstract

This preliminary study delves into the critical domain of workplace safety within the electricity service industry, aiming to assess the impact of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management practices on accident rates. With electrical service providers navigating a complex and inherently hazardous environment, ensuring the well-being of workers is paramount. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of accident data with qualitative insights from industry experts. The findings reveal correlations between OSH management systems and accident rates, shedding light on strategies for enhancing workplace safety within the electricity service sector. These insights are crucial not only for industry stakeholders but also for policymakers and regulators committed to fostering safer working environments.
