Exploring the Benefits and Challenges of Using Multimedia in Education

Abstract

 This article examines the use of multimedia in education and its impact on student learning. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of case studies, we found that multimedia has the potential to enhance student engagement, motivation, and knowledge retention. However, its effective use requires careful planning and design, as well as appropriate pedagogical approaches. The article discusses the benefits and challenges of using multimedia in education, including its potential to promote active learning, improve accessibility, and support diverse learning styles. It also highlights the importance of considering the technological infrastructure, teacher training, and student readiness when implementing multimedia in education.
